Do you have Wisdom?

Whew 😅. Was 2025 something else. Just getting thru December has been a journey if I do say so myself. More than anything I am grateful another year is coming to a close and another will soon begin. How are y'all doing?! Can you celebrate making it through?! I know I can. 🙌🏿

2025 revealed so much more that propelled more and more individuals to seek God. I love that for US. A generation of people seeking Christ (Psalms 24:6). Not only did more people seek God for themselves the roof has been blown off concerning the wickedness that has been taking place in high places. 🫠 More and more people have seen their idols in a new light and have released them.

However, there are still some on the fence. Some still enjoying the party of the wicked and others just entangled because it's an enjoyable mess for them. But let's talk about it.

Proverbs 9:10 states “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” Yet, what does it look like to fear the Lord? Proverbs 8:13 tells us plainly that “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” Sit with it.

How many people celebrate evil & call it culture?! 👀 Call it confidence? Call it a flex? Call it enjoyment? 2025 revealed that so many of the things that culture once and sometimes still gives praise to is evil. Yet, many will still deem themselves wise for participating in it.

Our fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. It's wise to hate evil. Being new to relationship with Christ it can be hard to distinguish what that is at times. Especially when culture has made “evil” a flex. Yet, having love for your neighbor as you love yourself is one of the greatest things we can take pride in. (Matt 22:36-40)

Y'all stay thirsty. Thirsty for understanding. Thirsty for Christ. There's a lot of oil out there. Olive 🫒 oil. Holy Oil. Stay righteous in a wicked world. It's tough but we're able.
