Are you any better than Beast?!
What up good people and others?! Hope things are well your way. My way is experiencing a little turbulence but nothing I won't glide thru 🛫. I'm trusting that God will continue to make a way. 🙏🏿.
It appears most folks are all in an interesting season of our lives. Some places are experiencing riots and pushbacks due to the current economy across the world. Others are coasting thru. People are fed up with pedophiles , the Epstein files and all types of different injustices taking place or coming to light. The battle between the sexes, man and woman, seems to be at an all time high and don't get me started on grocery prices.
None the less people are doing their best to push through. While others are about ready to explode. But what if you're being tested thru it all!? 👀 The Bible states that God knew none of us were good (Ecc 3:12). Yet, God still hopes we return back home with him. Sometimes the very things we are going thru is to test what we are made of. What we choose to be due to the hardships or trials we experience.
I've been thru a few; but I’ve done my best to remain solid concerning who I know myself to be. After reading Ecclesiates 3:18, I believe that our trials “manifest” or bring forth our nature. Some might call it our shadow. Considering some of the things I've noticed concerning self…. I'd like to call it that for me. Why?! Because it's something I carry with me when the heat hits the right angle 📸 but it's not who I am consistently.
Ecclesiates 3:17 highlights how there is a time and season for everything. Judgment being one of those things. Most people walk around doing or becoming things that give them a sense of superiority over the next person. Yet, it's all an illusion. People end the same way beast do. Being brought back to dust ‼️
How could you be “better” than the next man when you're no better than a beast?!
Image and illusions are what's fueling coveteousness. You see something someone else has. How they make it look and you're instantly trying to kill, steal or destroy said person. Without knowing the cost of the weight they bare. Yet, your envy blinds you. And your refusal to admit you have a problem keeps you stuck in a mental & spiritual trap.
Ecclesiates 3:22 also tells us to rejoice in our own works for that is our portion. Yet, so many take pride in vain things. While God is seeing what you will choose to be when the pressure turns up. I choose to be ME. Not fighting to be “better than” ….. choosing to just be.
