Hey good people. And others. It's election season. Meaning that it's time for everyone to place their bid on who they want to run America again.
Whew.
Me, personally, I believe we need a two year break from all government. And state officials should govern their state with quarterly meetings with other state officials to compare what's working and what's not. But that's just me. You might disagree. Which is your business. No hard feelings if you do.
Have any of you read 1 Samuel 8? The book in the Bible that deals with the Israelites asking for a king 👀?! Samuels warning against doing such. Yet, the people insisted anyways. Yea, that's what we have been living through. 1 Samuel 8:10-15 to be exact.
If we can't see that God is trying to get our attention. What are we truly paying attention to?! Hope it's not the lies and slander people desire to bury you in. Hope the excessive labor isn't weighing you down. Even though Pharaoh would love to see you crumble.
Have we realized that something is wrong because our focus has been on everything but God. For those of you quick to judge my life. Just want to remind you that the prophet God uses typically illustrates the struggle his people are going thru. I won't argue or debate you on that. Look at the examples before me. 🤷🏿♀️
Some people think that a “new king” will change the current climate in the nation. Yet the issue is…. Our nation has strayed away from God. From righteousness. It doesn't matter which side you choose if they both benefit from no arrest of the Epstein files. If they party in the same spaces with the same faces on that list. If they're willing to bow to the leader of the synagogue of Satan that is mentioned in the book of Revelations.
A new president won't save us. Turning back to righteousness will !! Consider all the things you've endured and overcome in these past few years. Who was standing there beside you?! Nobody but God. He may have used others to be a help and a blessing to you but ultimately God has been the one fighting our battles.
Sometimes we seek to be led when there has always been a present leader, we, have just desired one we can see. (Makes you wonder if your spiritual sight is active huh?!) In 1 Samuel 8: 19-20 the people choose to ignore the advice of Samuel for a King they could see because they desired “to be like” the other nations.
Crazy how wanting to be “similar” to “others” sets you up for a trap of destruction. 🤔🫠
Have you noticed that the people wanted a “King” to do the same thing that God had already expressed he does for us. Judge, go out before us, and fight our battles…..yet, they forsook God's covering to be covered by a King that had no good intent for their lives (1 Sam 8: 10-22). Knowing that God would not hear them in the days to come when they realized the error of their ways. 🙃
In summation, there has always been a King that reigns. Will you vote for a King that keeps you like other nations?! Or will you choose to stand with the King who keeps you separate and set apart?! God has told us in multiple different ways that if we turn from our wicked ways and come back he will hear our cries and save our nation.
Who will you choose to go out before you?! Your vote matters !! Choose life.
