Setup & STILL Standing ππΏβΌοΈ
What up Good people ?! Listen, hear, my day today was a little rocky. The energy was definitely not giving what I needed at first. Then I had to take a moment and remind myself of who my father is. Come on somebody. Glorrryyy. Let me be completely honest. He, my Father, had to remind me of who he is! Grateful is an understatement.
I hope your day went well and if it didn't start that way I hope you were able to turn it around.
Let me share this fire my Father pressed on me to help shift the energy that was trying to sit on me today. Hopefully, once we get thru this word it'll be pressed on you and every attack that tried you today will be flamed off of you as it was me. ππΏπ€
Grab your word, turn to 2 Chronicles 13 verse 12. It reads βAnd, behold, God himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the Lord God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.β I'm not sure if you read my previous blog or not. But ugh, if you didn't you might want to. See as we progress further in this blog you'll see that you could be setup on both sides and still end up standing. Much like David was setup and tried many times while under Saul but always came out on top. (Praise the Lord.)
When you read 2 Chronicles 13, you'll study how Abijah secured victory in battle over Jeroboam by relying upon the Lord (vs 18). See, Jeroboam took it upon himself to think that he could overthrow God's intended reign of Israel from David's lineage (vs 5). He felt a little too confident with his success over Solomon's son Rehoboam & felt he would do so with Abijah as well (vs 7). Boy, did he mess around and find out.
How many of you know that God doesn't play about his kids?! If you know you've been doing your best to walk with God and follow his ways of righteousness that should excite you. Although Jeroboam was more than equipped in number to defeat Abijah (vs 3)β¦.he wasn't equipped to beat God! What's even crazier about all of this is Abijah warned him not to do it.
He didn't listen.
While Abijah was warning him, Jeroboam was busy scheming and positioning Abijah for an automatic L; so he thought. Jeroboam set him up on both ends, front and back (vs 13) just to still face defeat (vs 17). My Father!
See our Father, has this thing with making people into believers even when they feel like the odds are in their favor. See, Abijah had half the amount of chosen men in comparison to Jeroboam. Was set up on both sides, front and back, took out 500 chosen men of Israel while only having 400 men of Judah, cried out to God and was STILL STANDING at the end of it all. My Father. ππΏ
Did you catch that?! Even with the odds literally stacked against you as a child of God the βdubβ, the WIN, the Victory is STILL yours regardless of what it looks like. You can warn your opponent all you want. Some are just not open to receive the word you give. Sometimes the only thing they understand is the L βΌοΈSo let God give it and you continue to stand for righteousness.
I hope this blessed you like it blessed me. I'll catch y'all another time. Be you. Be blessed. Keep standing.
Love ya later,
Shya
