Made for More

What's goodie beautiful people?! How's your weekend been so far?! Cool, calm, collected ๐Ÿ‘€ orrr eventful & exciting?! My weekend was pretty chill didn't do anything too exciting which I typically don't ๐Ÿซ . None the less, I'm blessed to see another day. As are you ๐Ÿค—.

I was reading the book of Enoch and stumbled across something that I thought you might find interesting to know. When I read it I was stunned ๐Ÿ˜ฏ and so many things began to race in my thoughts. The Parables chapter 69 states that โ€œFor men were created exactly like the angels, to the intent that they should continue pure and righteous, and death, which destroys everything, could not have taken hold of them, but through their knowledge they are perishing, and through this power it is consuming me.โ€

Did that smack you?!

God created us exactly like the angels! His intent was that we remained pure and righteous and by us remaining pure and righteous death could not take hold of us! ๐Ÿคฏ Then it goes on to say through their knowledge they are perishing. What or who is โ€œtheir knowledgeโ€? Can we conclude that who or whatever it is seems to be different from the knowledge God gives?!

So many people go through life wanting to know what their purpose is or why they were created and the answer was right there. God created us to remain righteous and pure; our knowledge causes us to perish. We are constantly searching for more, wanting more, inquisitive about the depths of all kinds of things and at times that leads us astray. We were created exactly like the angels ๐Ÿคฏ who were to remain pure and righteous.

Yet, what caused the angels to fall?! Their desire for the women of man. Their lust of sight much like what caused Eve to ruin the setup of the garden ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ. We were made for more. Yet, our desire for more, while we already had everything caused us to ruin a good thing. How many different ways can we apply that to life today?!

Desire and greed unchecked, unmanaged, can ruin a good thing. They ruin good things.

Makes you wonder are we all fallen angels on Earth?! Where did we go wrong? How can we fix it?! Seems like maybe we should be focused on getting back to the basics of how God intended things. At least that's just my perspective.

Iโ€™d love to hear your thoughts concerning this topic. Drop your comments down below.

Love ya. Later.
