Desperate for NOTHING but the Promise !

What up, what up good people and others?! How are y'all doing today, tonight, this afternoon? You know whatever time it may be in your area 🤗. As always I hope you're doing lovely. Did the title bring you in 👀? I hope it did. Let's talk about it.

As many of us are facing these trying times in the world many are dealing with battles of desperation. Worried about how they're going to maintain a roof over their head, feed their kids, secure income and etc. I want to encourage you and remind you that you're not alone. Nor are we the first to experience this.

In the Bible, Abraham was called to move, with no knowledge of where he may be going. He simply just moved. It takes some type of courage to move with no immediate direction of “where” you may end up (Heb 11:9-10). However, there is something powerful we can take from Abraham's story.

Abraham was desperate for nothing but the promise‼️

There are people in this world who sit in high places with evil intent. They want nothing more than to apply so much pressure, shame and desperation to your life that you have no time to focus on God's promise. They want you to make decisions based off of your desperation. However, I'm a living witness that you have to be desperate for nothing.

God is a good good father. He provided for Abraham and Sarah along their journey; they needed for nothing. He will do the same for you because you are his. God’s love for you has no limits. He'll use an enemy of yours to bless you if need be. There are many examples in the word where he has done so.

As hard as it may be right now and trust me, I'm living it, do your best to alchemize that desperation into focusing on the promise. Praising in advance for the promise. Rejoicing despite the trials. Celebrating even in the uncertainty. Hear me, you will have your days, I know I definitely do. I'm being followed around everywhere I go for heavens sake 😮‍💨. Literally 😆.

Y'all know the secret of trials right?! 👀 No, let me put you on game, come closer. It's praising God despite what you're going thru. Yep, it's truly that simple! 🤯 Troubles don't last always as cliche as that may sound right now but it's true. God wants to know that despite our troubles we can praise him anyways. That we are locked in on his promises for our lives and that we're not going to allow the enemy to distort our minds and hearts.

Come on now, I know things are a little rough in the world right now, but can you just praise God for five minutes? Confuse the enemy. Have you ever experienced people trying to sabotage your life, your mind, your love for others and then have to watch them see you joyful STILL?! 🤣 That face you imagined them making….that's exactly how the enemy looks when you can praise God inspite of.

We're called to fight the good fight and fight we shall do. Give God a praise 🙌🏿💃🏿 and let the enemy know YOU won't allow desperation to defeat you. You're focused on the promise ‼️
