A Sacrifice Worthy for God Alone !
Hello Beautiful People. Let's chitchat real quick. How are y'all doing today?! Have you managed to stay calm under pressure ? There are so many things going on in the world today and as a child of God we can have the luxury of being calm in the midst of the storm. I know it’s easier said than done at times. I myself have to catch myself at times but I know the peace and joy I experience when I realize God got me thru a trying time or moment. I pray you are able to enjoy that luxury also.
I wanted to come and speak on sacrifices. Discuss with you beautiful people what it is that God wants us to sacrifice on the altar for him. Today and everyday. I trust and believe that we can make our Father proud.
If you have a Bible with you I'd like you to turn to Hebrews 13:15. It reads “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.” In the Old Testament there were many sacrifices made using animals as burnt offerings to God. We see in Hebrews, in the New Testament, God is asking us to sacrifice praise to him.
In the world today, I see so many people still in bondage giving praises to man that belong to God! On the flip side, I also see how so many people have been set free from praising men; made from the dust that God took his time to put together. That in itself gives me a reason to praise God even more.
Seeing the chains being released from God's children little by little is praiseworthy.
It can be easy for some to fall into the habit, consciously or unconsciously, of praising God's creation instead of the true Creator. However, praise is a sacred thing, reserved for our Father. I'm reminded of the humility of Moses in the book of Exodus. Where he reminds the Israelites that their grumblings against him are truly against God (Exodus 16:7-8). The people saw Moses and naturally wanted to give the grumblings to him being that they could see Moses leading them. Yet, they forgot that it was God who was leading Moses. It was God who had equipped Moses (Exodus 3:12). It was God who had called Moses (Exodus 3:4).
Man is just a vessel God uses. He is not God; nor is he worthy of praise!
Have you given a sacrifice fitted for the King of Kings to his creation instead of the Creator? 👀 If so, don't beat yourself up. We've all fallen short. However, now that you realize the error of your ways when it comes to praising God's creation instead of God himself….REPENT! Redirect what rightfully belongs to God back to him.
Well good people and others I have to get going.
Love ya, later!
